Extreme Weather Kit for 8ft Sheds If you live in an area that is subject to high winds and extra-heavy snowfall, consider beefing up your 8 ft Lifetime storage shed with the Lifetime Extreme Weather kit.This kit anchors the shed directly to your shed platform from top to bottom using steel supports to reinforce doors, walls, and roof trusses. The Extreme Weather Kit increases the roof load capacity of your shed from 23 psf without the kit, to 30 psf with kit installed. The kit will also increase the wind speed rating from 11 psf to 20 psf.
IMPORTANT: The Extreme Weather Kit provides reinforcements for UP TO THREE ROOF TRUSSES. If you have an 8 x 12.5 ft Lifetime shed, you will need to purchase one additional Snow Load Kit. Note: The Extreme Weather Kit is not designed for the Lifetime 10' x 8' or 15' x 8' Garden Buildings, and exceeds wind pressure requirements for Dade County, Florida.Kit Include:

Snow Load Kit for 8ft Sheds Protect your storage shed investment. If you live in an area that receives an excessive amount of snowfall in the winter, you'll appreciate the option of installing a Snow Load Kit in the 8 ft Lifetime storage shed. The Snow Load kit reinforces one roof truss and increases the snow load capacity of your shed from 23 psf to 30 psf above that truss. (That's 2400 lbs total roof load capacity for an 8 x 10 ft shed).
