If you live in an area that receives an excessive amount of snowfall in the winter, you'll appreciate the option of installing a Snow Load Kit in your 8 ft Lifetime storage shed. THIS SNOWLOAD KIT REINFORCES ONE TRUSS with large truss gussets which attach to the front and back of the main truss, as well as a short brace to go above the main truss. This increases the snow load capacity of your shed from 23 psf to 30 psf above that truss. (That's 2400 lbs total roof load capacity for an 8 x 10 ft shed).

Note: The following are the amount of trusses in each of our 8 ft shed models so that you will know how many snow load kits you need for your shed: 8 x 5 ft -- 1 truss, 8 x 7.5 -- 2 trusses, 8 x 10 -- 3 trusses, 8 x 12.5 -- 4 trusses.
